    The Suez Canal Authority has announced the successful trial operations of the Suez Canal Expansion Project, aimed at enhancing the efficiency and capacity of one of the world’s most vital waterways.

    The project is part of Egypt‘s strategic plan to boost global maritime trade and increase national revenues. It includes the development of a dual-lane section spanning several kilometers, allowing for two-way ship traffic, reducing waiting times, and improving navigational flow.
