Requirements to travel to Armenia
What you may need to enter Armenia from the UAE differs according to your nationality, residence type, the visa you hold and the type of your passport. To figure out what you need, just follow these steps:
Open this website mfa.am/en/visa/
Enter your nationality along with the type of your visa / residence / passport.
The website will show the visas eligible for you (e-visa / visa on arrival / regular visa).
It is advisable to have a valid return ticket as well as a provisional hotel reservation or an address to your accommodation in Armenia to avoid any unpleasant surprises upon boarding.
Regular visa holders need to prove that they can cover the trip financially. They can stay for 30 consecutive days per visit.
Armenia is one of the Caucasian countries that includes Azerbaijan and Georgia as well. Vacations usually include one of the two countries along Armenia because they are both close to it. Thus, the protocol has included them in the free-visa entrance for the UAE’s citizens. Many flights are now available between the UAE and the Caucasian countries including Flydubai Airlines. The flight between Dubai International Airport and the Armenian capital, Yerevan, takes three hours. Airlines also provide special promotions for this route according to the demand and vacation schedule.
The visa requirements differ occasionally; this information is the latest according to the agreement signed in September 2023.
